“Move out of your comfort zone.
— Brian Tracy
You can only grow
if you are willing to feel
awkward and uncomfortable
when you try something new.”
“March on. Do not tarry.
— Khalil Gibran
To go forward
is to move toward perfection.
March on, and fear not the thorns,
or the sharp stones on life’s path.”
“Even though
— Mary Manin Morrissey
you may want to move forward in your life,
you may have one foot on the brakes.
In order to be free,
we must learn how to let go.
Release the hurt.
Release the fear.
Refuse to entertain your old pain.
The energy it takes
to hang onto the past
is holding you back from a new life.
What is it you would let go of today?”
This week’s MotW encourages us to move it, move it! Even the smallest step forward can set the wheels in motion to propel us beyond what we thought we could realize. Sometimes taking that step is just the incentive we need to continue because we realize the joy of progress is greater than the stagnation of fear.
Actually, let’s see fear differently. Treat it as the friend who is letting us know that we must be getting closer to manifesting what we truly want for ourselves. It gives us the adrenaline we need to accelerate. As a matter of fact with the switching out of one word, we can move through the fear: instead of saying ”I’m scared”, say: ”I’m excited!” It changes everything.
And just for fun and to get us to move (at least dancing):
