22-12 Weave

“If we are to achieve a richer culture,
rich in contrasting values,
we must recognize
the whole gamut of human potentialities,
and so weave a less arbitrary social fabric,
one in which each diverse human gift
will find a fitting place.”

— Margaret Mead

“Man does not weave this web of life.
He is merely a strand of it.
Whatever he does to the web,
he does to himself.”

— Chief Seattle

“In the tapestry of life,
we’re all connected.
Each one of us is a gift
to those around us
helping each other
be who we are,
weaving a perfect picture together.”

— Anita Moorjani

This week’s MotW reminds us of how we are all part of the bigger picture, a bigger tapestry. Each of us has our own thread, weaving in and around with that others; none more important than the other.

When we come together as one, in service of each other, it creates the most glorious expression of love humanly possible.

Blessings,
