Download this week’s Mandala of the Week
Inspired by Friday’s Mandala of the Day “Neptune”, I created my version of the astrological glyph for the planet Neptune. I felt compelled to add the circle in the cross section…it feels like a window or portal. In the background I put a rippling pond of water with what looks like an abstract landscape of hills and/or clouds…or ribbons twisted in the wind/air.
From the CafeAstrology web site about this glyph:
Neptune’s glyph…resembles the trident that the god Poseidon/Neptune is often shown holding. The crescent, representing receptivity, is pointing upwards, indicating spiritual receptivity, and is placed above the cross of matter. This symbolizes the yearning of the soul to break free from the restrictions and limitations of matter/reality.
This Week…
In coloring this week’s MotW, we can look at several areas of our lives related to our spirituality:
- how receptive are we to our own spiritual connections?
- what can we do to move forward with our spiritual growth?
- where are we feeling restricted or limited?
- what spiritual practices can we use to process through these restrictions?
- how comfortable are we with the concept of us all being spiritual beings?
Feel free to come up with any additional questions or thoughts related to this week’s mandala.
Happy Coloring!
joyfully,
Maureen
