Download This Weeks Mandala of the Week
Inspired by Friday’s Mandala of the Day “Iris”, I drew my impression of a micro-view of an eyeball looking upward. Looking at it this way makes it seem like planted seeds awaiting germination before they pop up through the ground’s surface.
Also with the eye looking up, it triggers three thoughts:
- Look up…as in look on the bright side
- In our current tech world, we see more people with heads down (and lost) in their devices, forgetting to look up once in a while to view what’s going on all around them in that very moment. And more importantly, missing out on wonderful opportunities to interact with the people and events right in front of them.
- Along the same lines as #2, even when we’re walking down the street (myself included) we tend to always look down. Obviously we have to look down some times to see where we’re going however the rest of the time we can look up to say hello to other people that walk by or look at what’s going on around us or even look up to view interesting architecture (if we’re in a city) or the clouds (and other things) in the sky.
This Week…
As we color this week’s mandala, ponder where in our lives would it serve us to look up? In our thoughts, in our hearts, in our physical world? What opportunities are we missing out on because we forget to look up?
Happy Coloring!
joyfully,
