After three painting sessions this week, I completed the update to “Abstract Mandala #2”. And with that, it gave me its new name: “Merry Go Round“. This mandala went from looking and feeling very flat to very much alive, with depth, bursting with energy and movement.

Insights from updating Merry Go Round
During the three days I updated this mandala, insights came through as part of the process. Here are the highlights:
- with the addition of the “tadpoles” in the background (day 2), it ramped up the energy levels. The mandala reminds us we can access this infinitesimal well of new ideas and new thoughts at any time without it ever running dry. When a new idea or thought sparks our interest, feel inspired to follow its lead! The possibilities are endless!
- as we go through these cycles, be open to experiencing the joy of it ALL. This mandala also reminds us that life is meant to be a joy ride.
Happy Coloring!
joyfully,
Maureen
