Pilgrimage of Healing and Consciousness
For 2025, we’re embarking on a 52-week pilgrimage of inward healing, growth, and self-discovery…and ultimately, peace…regardless of whether the healing is related to addiction, grief, or any other challenge we seek to overcome.
The seventeen “mile” of our pilgrimage encourages us to take something that feels overwhelming to us and break it down into small, doable, daily tasks…whether it be a project, a habit we want to change, or a new, more positive mindset we want to create for ourselves. When we do this, we’re more likely to succeed in our quest.
For example, if we want to but are unable to do 20 push-ups a day, then do 10, or 5, or just 1 and over time, work up to 20+. Doing one push-up a day for a week will build up more strength than trying to do all seven in one day and not doing any again until the following week.
If we’re wanting to change our lives for the better, we’re encouraged to make small doable changes that we can do on a daily basis. Over time, we will change.
How about you? Are there things you’re putting off doing or changing because it feels too overwhelming to do? Would you consider tackling them if you broke them down into simpler terms that’s manageable on a daily basis? Pick one and break it down…one step at a time.
Like my good friend Veyra says: how do you climb a rainbow? one color at a time.

About the 2025 Mandalas of the Week
Each week I will create a new mandala design to color, along with my coloring of it, and a weekly message and prompt for us to continue on our quest throughout the year. All of which is inspired by Melody Beattie’s book entitled “52 Weeks of Consciousness Contact”.
I will be breaking down each week’s topic into daily insights and images (inspired by Melody’s book) on my blog site: MandalaoftheDay.com where I’ll be creating/building one giant mandala (48”x48”), one puzzle piece of it each day.
