Mandala of the Week
This week’s MotW is inspired by Jack Canfield’s “The Success Principles”, Principle #8: Chunk It Down. Essentially this principle encourages us to turn our goals into manageable actions steps. He states: “So after you have decided what you really want and set measurable goals with specific deadlines, the next step is to determine all of the individual action steps you will need to take to accomplish your goal.” I’m usually pretty good about noting my action steps however most of the time they are only noted in my head. Canfield recommends brainstorming and writing down the steps it’s going to take.
Over the next seven days, I’ll be delving deeper into this principle via multiple colorings of this mandala and posting them on the Mandalas of the Day. I hope by the end of the week to have set up my action steps for at least three of my goals.
So how about you? How do you manage a goal (task)? Charge at it? Break it down in to smaller tasks? Make it up as you go along?

down into little reasonable chunks.
A big goal is only achieved
when every little thing
that you do everyday,
gets you closer to that goal.”

An Invitation
I invite you to color along with me this year as part of what I’m calling “The Year of Self-Exploration and Expansion” with all of my “Mandalas of the ___” (day, week, month, year). If you’re interested in a more self-exploration approach to coloring, check out my “Coloring Mandalas as Meditation”.
