16-46: Round Ancient Roman Structures Mandala

Round Ancient Roman Structures Mandala by Maureen Frank (me)

Download Mandala of the Week #46

In researching potential images for this week’s Mandala of the Day theme (Round Ancient Roman Structures), I noticed that the ancient Romans seemed very fond of arches. I decided to play with that idea and came up with this design for today’s Mandala of the Week.

From Study.com about Roman Arches it states:

The Roman arch was the foundation of Rome’s architectural mastery and massive expanse of building projects across the ancient world. It allowed the Romans to make bigger buildings, longer roads, and better aqueducts. The Roman arch is the ancestor of modern architecture.

This Week…

This week’s mandala reminds us of the importance of creating strong foundations for ourselves upon which to expand and grow. Sometimes it may seem like it’s a slow and tedious process however in the long-run, we grow exponentially.

Happy Coloring!

joyfully,
