ACIM Lessons: 36-42

Lesson 36 My holiness envelops everything I see.
Neutral: My inner clarity influences how I perceive everything.

Lesson 37 My holiness blesses the world.
Neutral: My presence and awareness have a beneficial effect on others.

Lesson 38 There is nothing my holiness cannot do.
Neutral: A clear, grounded mind can shift any situation.

Lesson 39 My holiness is my salvation.
Neutral: Returning to inner integrity brings me freedom.

Lesson 40 I am blessed as a Son of God.
Neutral: My true nature is supported, whole, and safe.

Lesson 41 God goes with me wherever I go.
Neutral: A steady inner presence is with me at all times.

Lesson 42 God is my strength. Vision is His gift.
Neutral: Real clarity comes from aligning with inner strength.

Message

The theme of “holiness” weaves in and out of this week’s lessons. If that at all feels awkward or uncomfortable as it does for me, you’re not alone. Thankfully, The Course is more about the intention of the messages than the actually words it uses. So, for me, It’s easier to embrace the idea “of the Light” than “holy”, which is okay—whatever works. What would you use ?

The message, therefore, is to open up to the idea that because we are “of the Light” (holy), everything we see and experience is also of the Light. Even if we’re a bit skeptical, we’re invited to experience everything through the eyes of Light (holiness).

And because we are of the Light, this Light is with (and in) us wherever we go; meaning we have full access 24/7 and, more importantly, it reminds us that we’re never alone—especially when we know and see ourselves as being of the Light (being holy).

Let’s let that percolate a bit as we color the Mandala of the Week and go about our “holy” week.
