Pilgrimage of Healing and Consciousness
For 2025, we’re embarking on a 52-week pilgrimage of inward healing, growth, and self-discovery…and ultimately, peace…regardless of whether the healing is related to addiction, grief, or any other challenge we seek to overcome.
Mile 49 of our pilgrimage. This week we look at the concept of perspective. Essentially, we’re encouraged to open up to other points of view especially when we’re struggling, confused, or stuck. Seeing our situation from different perspectives gives us more options on how best to move forward…or as a friend of mine says: only when we are open are we able to receive the next divinely inspired action step to take.
If we keep doing the same things from the same perspective, expecting different results…well you know where that leads us. It’s like that old Far Side cartoon where the kid is pushing hard on a door that clearly says “pull” but the kid doesn’t look up to notice, he just keeps pushing. Funny in a cartoon, but not so funny IRL.

Whether we zoom out for the bigger picture or zoom in to explore our internal limiting beliefs, going into neutral to see all our options serves us best in gaining a new perspective on our situation(s).
How about you ? What’s your current perspective on your personal life ? What’s your current perspective on your professional/work life ? What area(s) of life could use a different point of view ?

About the 2025 Mandalas of the Week
Each week I will create a new mandala design to color, along with my coloring of it, and a weekly message and prompt for us to continue on our quest throughout the year. All of which is inspired by Melody Beattie’s book entitled “52 Weeks of Consciousness Contact”.
I will be breaking down each week’s topic into daily insights and images (inspired by Melody’s book) on my blog site: MandalaoftheDay.com where I’ll be creating/building one giant mandala (48”x48”), one puzzle piece of it each day.
