25-48 Vulnerable Honesty

Mandala of the Week 25-48 Vulnerable Honesty in color with colors of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and varying shades of grey

Pilgrimage of Healing and Consciousness

For 2025, we’re embarking on a 52-week pilgrimage of inward healing, growth, and self-discovery…and ultimately, peace…regardless of whether the healing is related to addiction, grief, or any other challenge we seek to overcome.

Mile 48 of our pilgrimage. This week we look at the concept of vulnerable honesty. We gain a greater sense of belonging and connection when we allow ourselves to be vulnerably honest—both with ourselves and with others.

Our challenge when it comes to be vulnerably honest with others is knowing when it’s appropriate and when it’s not. Being vulnerable can be risky however the rewards can be great…at the very least we can insight, perspective, and feedback from it each time.

We can also gain strength by being vulnerably honest because we’re no longer holding onto whatever it is that is holding us back from moving forward. Essentially, we go from being victims of our fears to being our empowered and more confident selves.

How about you ? What’s some truth you’ve been holding back on sharing because of fear ? What is the message of this fear ? What could you do or say that would allow yourself to be vulnerable enough to share your truth ?

About the 2025 Mandalas of the Week

Each week I will create a new mandala design to color, along with my coloring of it, and a weekly message and prompt for us to continue on our quest throughout the year. All of which is inspired by Melody Beattie’s book entitled “52 Weeks of Consciousness Contact”.

I will be breaking down each week’s topic into daily insights and images (inspired by Melody’s book) on my blog site: MandalaoftheDay.com where I’ll be creating/building one giant mandala (48”x48”), one puzzle piece of it each day.

May Peace Prevail on Earth and in our Hearts
