Pilgrimage of Healing and Consciousness
For 2025, we’re embarking on a 52-week pilgrimage of inward healing, growth, and self-discovery…and ultimately, peace…regardless of whether the healing is related to addiction, grief, or any other challenge we seek to overcome.
Mile 44 of our pilgrimage. We are encouraged, from this day forward, to engage with the world from a place of grace and humility. Why ? Because it’s the blessed thing to do. Also, when we don’t, it will more than likely backfire on us in a variety of ways and to varying degrees.
We’re reminded that none of us go through this life alone, even if we happen to be physically alone. Everything that supports us, makes it easier for us to do what we need to do, that helps us get through our day involves someone or something outside of ourselves: the food we eat, the place where we reside, the vehicles we use, the resources we use, even the air we breathe comes from outside of ourselves.
Through all of this, our challenge, though, is to allow ourselves to honor ourselves, who we are, and what we accomplish while remembering that we don’t get where we are alone, we always have some form of help, either directly or indirectly.
How about you ? What’s your take on going through life with humility ? Are you able to recognize when to be proud of yourself and when to be humble ? Are you able to be humble while also being proud of yourself and what you accomplish ?

About the 2025 Mandalas of the Week
Each week I will create a new mandala design to color, along with my coloring of it, and a weekly message and prompt for us to continue on our quest throughout the year. All of which is inspired by Melody Beattie’s book entitled “52 Weeks of Consciousness Contact”.
I will be breaking down each week’s topic into daily insights and images (inspired by Melody’s book) on my blog site: MandalaoftheDay.com where I’ll be creating/building one giant mandala (48”x48”), one puzzle piece of it each day.
