Pilgrimage of Healing and Consciousness

For 2025, we’re embarking on a 52-week pilgrimage of inward healing, growth, and self-discovery…and ultimately, peace…regardless of whether the healing is related to addiction, grief, or any other challenge we seek to overcome.

Mile 36 of our pilgrimage encourages us to extend goodwill to others regardless of what we may think of them. We’re reminded that this suggestion has nothing to do with the other person, and had everything to do with us and our peace and well-being-ness.

Essentially it comes down to this:

Every time we wish someone ill,
we dim our own light.
Every time we send someone goodwill,
we reclaim it.

If we’re struggling with how to extend goodwill to someone who’s behavior is anything positive, helpful, or loving, then we can try one of these (or some variation to your liking):

May you awaken.
May you find clarity.
May you stop causing harm.

About the 2025 Mandalas of the Week

Each week I will create a new mandala design to color, along with my coloring of it, and a weekly message and prompt for us to continue on our quest throughout the year. All of which is inspired by Melody Beattie’s book entitled “52 Weeks of Consciousness Contact”.

I will be breaking down each week’s topic into daily insights and images (inspired by Melody’s book) on my blog site: MandalaoftheDay.com where I’ll be creating/building one giant mandala (48”x48”), one puzzle piece of it each day.

I do it because my spiritual evolution and creativity require it of me. My mandala designs come about within an active meditative state, connected with my higher self, my spiritual guides and nature spirits. Together, we bring into form, mandala art the allows me to re-connect with my own inner peace and joy, letting me explore and expand my own creative spirit to however far and in whatever direction I want to take it. As part of my own spiritual journey, I encourage, and hopefully inspire, others to explore their own creativity, to help them re-connect with their own inner peace and joy. As a means to that end, I make all of my mandalas available for people to color. Why should I have all the fun?
