Pilgrimage of Healing and Consciousness
For 2025, we’re embarking on a 52-week pilgrimage of inward healing, growth, and self-discovery…and ultimately, peace…regardless of whether the healing is related to addiction, grief, or any other challenge we seek to overcome.
Mile 31 of our pilgrimage encourages us to set boundaries as part of our self care. We are also encouraged to say “no” when we mean “no” and “yes” when we mean “yes”. As part of this we can also look at our “whys” regarding are yeses and nos. Why are we saying “yes” ? Why are we say “no” ? What part of us is answering these questions ?
Our biggest challenge, especially if we are people pleasers, is declaring what we want and do not want. Our guilt and fear of some form of retribution often set us up for being wishy-washy with our boundaries, allowing others to take advantage of us, walk all over us, or totally disregard anything we would want. Time to stand up for ourselves and declare, once and for all, clear boundaries.
How about you ? How are you with setting boundaries ? Are you clear about what you want and don’t want ? Do you set your boundaries accordingly ?

About the 2025 Mandalas of the Week
Each week I will create a new mandala design to color, along with my coloring of it, and a weekly message and prompt for us to continue on our quest throughout the year. All of which is inspired by Melody Beattie’s book entitled “52 Weeks of Consciousness Contact”.
I will be breaking down each week’s topic into daily insights and images (inspired by Melody’s book) on my blog site: MandalaoftheDay.com where I’ll be creating/building one giant mandala (48”x48”), one puzzle piece of it each day.
