This week’s MotW is inspired by Jack Canfield’s “The Success Principles”, namely Principles #59 & #60, Master the Spending Game and To Spend More, First Make More, respectively. Canfield states: “Spending too much can wreak havoc with your financial goals. It keeps you in debt, prevents you from saving as much as you could, and turns your focus to consumption, rather than to wealth creation and accumulation. … [T[here are really only two ways to end up with more money for investing or additional luxuries—either spend less money in the first place or simply make more of it.”
Over the next seven days, I’ll be delving deeper into these principles via multiple colorings of this mandala and posting them on the Mandalas of the Day. My plan this week is to take a closer look at my spending and explore ways to spend less and make more.
