23-23 Embrace Your Future

Download and color this week’s
Mandala of the Week

This week’s MotW is inspired by Jack Canfield’s “The Success Principles”, namely Principle #29: Complete the Past to Embrace Your Future. Canfield states: “Some people go through life as if they have a big anchor behind them, weighing them down. If they could release it, they would be able to move faster and succeed more easily. … The truth is…we need to let go of the past to embrace the future.” This week’s mandala design represents our quandary: do we want to stay in the “comfort” of our cocoon or do we want to soar as the butterflies that we are meant to be?

Over the next seven days, I’ll be delving deeper into this principle via multiple colorings of this mandala and posting them on the Mandalas of the Day. My plan this week is to look at what parts of my past that I am still holding onto that keeps me from flying.

So how about you? Do you have “anchors” holding your back? What in your past, keeps you from embracing your future? What from your past are you ready to release?

“What the caterpillar calls
the end of the world
the master calls a butterfly.”
